Hi all:
A few years ago, I was looking for an education opportunity that would be more targeted towards advanced project management, strategy, and growth. None of that PM 101 stuff!
When I did online investigation, I found that Stanford University offered a Certification! Wow!
So, over the course of 1.5 years, I took a mix of online and in-person courses at the Stanford Campus.
The knowledge shared was amazing, it was focused on strategy, entrepreneurship, financial understanding - many great skills for aspiring leaders. I call it a mini-MBA in Project Management - it was that good!
Each class is 20 hours, and is good for 20 PDUs.
Have any of you gone through this training? Care to share your experience? Saving Changes...
Hi Annette, I have actually considered this program at Stanford; but was not sure of the value. I have taken other courses through Stanford online; which were outstanding. But these were FREE. Thank you for sharing your experience. I wonder how this program compares with getting an MPM. I did not realize it was a almost a 2 year commitment. I can only imagine the experiences shared by your classmates / cohort. The SAPM instructor bios are very impressive! Saving Changes...
