What resources would you use to prepare (i.e. books)? If you already have taken the exam, did you find the experience easier or more difficult than the PMP Exam? Saving Changes...
Again, applicable everywhere. And simple. Other books listed for AACEi PSP certification are useful as well (by Plotnick etc).
These are the best practices. Many books, some of which are distorted by their focus on a specific software tool, may end up leading you down the road of MS Word scheduling.
These two cover the best practices and the very principles of underlying mechanics. Subjects even refer to linear scheduling, old PERT as well, etc. Do not scatter your efforts. These two are sufficient. Scheduling is not rocket science, and even rocket science is not any more rocket science ;) Just pay this exam some decent respect, limit your sources, probably take a test run of some test questions to work out the timing. Your biggest challenge will be the the bus-stop environment of the examination location. You will be there for the longest time of all the exam takers. Others will be getting in and out every couple of minutes. Bring those silicone earplugs (Macs, at any pharmacy, CSV, Walgreens, Walmart, six pack for $3)
PMI exams are very easy in general. If you fully understand these two books, you will be far beyond anything PMI-SP needs.
Pass the exam and do apply the practices in everyday work. We need support, against all odds and ignorance of project offices. Saving Changes...

I did the PMI-SP. I only read the PMBOK and other recommended PMI documents - there wasn't near as much when I did it as there is now. Two weeks before the exam, I purchased mock exams.

Surendra. I got my PMI-SP ten years ago. If I'm recalling correctly, I purchased my mock exams from Udemy.

Practice Standard for Scheduling, downloaded it from PMI site. Passing the PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) (c) Certification Exam the First Time! [Daniel C. Yeomans] - ebook
