I've been asked to present to a group of HR managers and they requested that I share some things that project managers do that other professionals could do too, to improve their job performance and task execution.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration! Saving Changes...

The importance of planning would be my first choice.
For my son's upanayanam (sacred thread ceremony), my wife and I used a very detailed WBS.
We did it not because it gave us coomprehensive detail of what we needed to do, and not since we were both PMPs and PMI Chapter volunteers!
Thank you, Karthik. Planning is #1 on my list, too! Thanks so much for your reply and congratulations on your sons upanayanam.

Think like vertical view. Everyone is working under the project management framework even NON-PM Professionals.
NON - PM Pro. following the ethics of main project management constraints like (Cost, Resources and Time). But they are not well aware about the environmental behavior.
I like that - thank you for your feedback! Saving Changes...

Interesting question!! It all depends on the audience so my following answer is based on the assumption that the audience consists of HR managers/personnel as implied in the question.
so what project management skills/techniques/practices can help HR managers in their daily activities? I would say a mix of HR management processes (a give away given the name), Communication Management & Stakeholders Management processes, Estimation tools & techniques, and project performance measurement/monitoring/management concepts would be very helpful resources for them.
Of course seasoned HR managers would be aware of many of these principles and concepts so the added value to them would come from presenting a referenced formalized versions of these processes.
Wish you good luck Laura and hope to hear how it went for you afterwards
Thank you, Mohammad! I appreciate your input, support and encouragement. Saving Changes...

Risk management is something that I would advice other professionals, if they are not doing so already.
Thank you - I will include Risk Management and especially identifying risk triggers as I have found it to be an exercise that requires participants to see the project from other perspectives and highlights unthought of dependencies.
