Hi! I am the product manager for the PM Job Board. I wanted to jump in on this discussion to see if I can provide some clarification and answer your questions.
1) The PM Job Board is not currently linked to a PMI.org account as we have not enabled single sign-on for the product as of yet. We are currently assessing the need to do so. So it is a separate registration. The registration form does ask if you are a PMI member and you can fill that field in as part of your registration.
2) The "resources" section currently offers career services that are available to PMI members ONLY. So you do have to be a paid PMI member to access these resources as they are a member benefit. This membership is not different than PMI membership, and based on the clarifying point above, single sign-on is not enabled, so it is a separate registration. When you enter your PMI member number in during registration, it will allow you access to those resources.
I hope the above points provide some clarity for you. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to post here or reach out to me directly at [email protected].

Thanks Kerry. Is there a plan in the future to see more positions targeted to PM members instead of pulling many more positions from Indeed.com? Just something I have observed. Saving Changes...

Hi! Great question. We actively work to bring in more job postings directly from employers looking for project professionals. We have live marketing campaigns (ads/social media) to encourage employers to post jobs on the PM Job Board to reach quality candidates, as well as outreach to the PM community to create profiles and upload their resume or CV. That being said, it is very common practice to support the job board with "extra" project management positions, and in this case, we utilize Indeed. It provides additional value to those seeking a new job or career to expose them to more potential project management opportunities. These jobs are filtered based on keywords we provide to them, therefore they deliver project management job opportunities to the PM Job Board.
In addition to the above, we have a program for our chapters where they can elect to have their own job board through us. This provides them with an opportunity to bring in more job postings from employers (globally) and becomes a benefit to the chapters' membership as well. Saving Changes...
