I am in the process of developing the evaluation / product-selection criteria for procuring a Portfolio Management tool. Could someone, share with me the evaluation criteria they may have used in evaluating a similar product. Thanks in advance.

Dear Anonymous, we have a PPM evaluation and product selection tool. It is an Excel spreadsheet. But in addition to our own criteria, we asked for, incorporate, and appreciate the suggested vendor criteria for evaluation and selection. Vendors have deep experience in not only what their products can do and how customers use them, but also in features and functionality just around the corner. And while features and functions are important, often it is the unique needs and constraints of your company and project organization that become key criteria in scoring and prioritization. In that regard, every organization is unique. If you would like, send me an email and I will email you back our PPM evaluation spreadsheet. Cheers. -- Mark Perry, VP of Customer Care, BOT International
