People in projects can be classified as - Input People and Output People.
Typically what is the difference between these?

Do you classify people in your project?

If I understand correctly then you can differentiate totally between both as everyone on a project has input and output but probably management has the most input for people to make an output.

We don't classify people like this. People are part of a team, whether they are providing input to the team/project or receiving input from someone else to make an output. We're all working for the same outcome.

I attended a session, where I came across to these terms. The session was on requirements management. The presenter mentioned - people in projects can be classified as Input People and Output People. While Input people - influence changes, and capture requirements, Output people - turn requirements into artifacts, services, or packages.
