Thanks Anupam. Actually I am looking for a tool where I can manage the resource allocation in different projects. As you know it is not only apply 50/50 and go on. Different demands can require you at the same time and so, the allocation is no longer partial, becomes to 100/0.

Have you ever seen any tool to drive this, rather than MS Project?

It appears you are looking for resource leveling and loading tools.

As hinted above you can look at Smartsheet which has the feature but you will pay for the licensing. It is a software as a service and you will have to pay monthly for more than one license. Additionally, you will have to learn how to build out the information in smartsheet and build the resource report.

Another project software I have had success with is easyprojects.net. It is a smaller company but the have the resource loading capability. This is also a software as a service and you will need to pay monthly license cost. This software is intuitive and is affordable monthly cost.

If you are looking a resource leveling spreadsheet I have not seen anyone share this as this would be a formula that you would have to write across cells, rows and sheets depending on how you are tracking.

Good luck in your search.

Scott
