Every PM group I look at is overflowing with variations of the same question.
"How to I get an Agile job? Oh, and by the way, what is Agile, and how do I do it?"

We all know "Agile" is a major buzzword right now, so these questions aren't going away. How do you answer them?

If you collaborated on an "Agile for Dummies" paper that was no longer than the Agile Manifesto, what would you want it to say?

Please let me say this first (while I hate to do that, I think it applies). I worked with agile from the very begining being part of the USA DoD NSF/Agility Forum which is the place where agile and agility formally started. I was part the software implementaton when I was one of the authors of DSDM agile software development method where I worked with Arie Van Bennkum, one of the manifesto writters. Besides I performed conferences around the world inside the PMI World Tour from 2010 talking about agile time ago I wrote a short article for PM Network that perhaps helps: "Perfectly Positioned", http://www.pmnetwork-digital.com/pmnetwork/april_2016?pg=73#pg73

I heard from "agile" movements fathers, from years, that "agle is a way of thinking and behaive with focus on delivering value for the client and quality". And they say: "when you work with this you gain in agility which is the ability to create changes and to respond to changes in the environment". As you can see, there are two key terms to define from organizational strategy; client and value. And there is a key actitude to define from organizational strategy: reactive or proactive. The USA DoD NSF/Agility Forum defined a framework to address agile and gain in agility based in two basic terms: organizational architecture and knowledge management.
