Has anyone used the ATOM (Actionable Threat and Opportunity Management) methodology?

I have yet to see any mention of it and was curious if it was used at all.

Never used, but it would be good topic for discussion, may be a webinar.

I read that book as part of an MBA course. I didn't think it offered anything new. A PM with sound PMBOK practices should already do the things mentioned in the book. That said, it seems like a decent method (not "methodology") for project risk management, and I certainly wouldn't discourage anyone from reading it.

I have the book as well. I agree if one uses the PMBOK as a guideline to practice sound project management principles, ATOM is but one way to help identify risks within the project. I just haven't seen it mentioned or any white papers on how it's been used and for what context.
