My organization is examining a select set of collaborative work vendors. Anyone have experiences to share regarding eRoom?

I have tried eRoom but now use eProject and have been for years. eProject provides a collaborative workspace to share any information anytime for customers and team members.

There is an upload capability from MS Project to bring up your project tasks, assign them to project team members and have them update the tasks in real-time on any machine with a browser. The team can also hold fully-threaded discussions, share documents with check-in, check-out, and version control.

The Workgroup verison of eProject is only $19.95 per person per month and I have used it to support companies with up to 50 active projects. The newest version, Enterprise, allows teams to track and report on large enterprises. They have added Dynamic Applications (mini-databases) to Enterprise edition to allow a project manager or administrator to create small applications on the fly with web entry forms. The form can be attached to any website and the user doesn't even have to hav a license. Check out www.eproject.com.

May be the answer is coming too late for your need, who knows...
I have used eRoom, among many others collaborative tools; As a matter of fact, I was project manager to deploy eRoom in a majour aeorospace company (25 000 users)
Benfits were obvious, and project end up very successfully.
Mainly because :
- The product is VERY easy to use
- High flexibility, allowing adaptation for various processes
- Self-undersatnding, because it is build in the same "mind" than windows functionality
Feel free to contact me if you need more details

We are considering using eRoom for our collaborative projects. Is there any place we can download free eRoom copy?
Also I would be greatful if you can send me the more details about eRoom Project implementation. (What has to be done and in which order, project plan, average implementation time, SWAT, etc...)
Thanks in advance

As John Fillicetti works for eProject. I'd say his comments are a bit biased.
