Strategic Project Management
The strategy is integrating Knowledge Areas into structure, maturity and competencies for the best performance. The structure division includes Procurement, Human Resources and Scope; the maturity division is about time, risk and communication; the competencies division is improvising talents in Cost and Quality (Carvalho & Rabechini Jr., 2011).
Performance indicators
The measure of performance is setting the project management indicators in the order of priority of customer satisfaction, on-time project completion, requirement traceability, within budget of the project and according to scope. The priority of knowledge areas from high-moderate-low with these performance indicators makes the best performance (Donna G.Thomas, 2009)
Performance
The interrelationship between artifact, process knowledge, performance indicators and performance is proposed as APPP, a structural equation model (SEM) for a successful project management. (Krishnaswamy N. & Selvarasu A., 2014). The project charter and the project management plan are included as artifacts of successful projects as inputs through process knowledge indicating performance deliverable outputs. Saving Changes...

Sorry, but I fully disagreee. Strategic project management does not exists. Strategy is not a matter of portfolio, program or project management. We need to understand that project management will have a strategic reason if and only if: project management functions are defined as part of the organization´s strategy, manily when you define the key success factor after performing organizational strategy and then business unit strategy which is the mean to determine the business functions. Dear Sergio Luis Conte,
Greetings!
A Model strategic Project Management (MEGP) is about dividing the knowledge areas in to three pools or three groups. The structure, the maturity and the competency. This is reported by a Portuguese Researcher with Engineering Background. Does it vary with software project management? I am looking forward to share our paper with you for an expert comment.
