Dear Anonymous, one rather high level approach is to track the number of total project outputs and compare that to the number of outputs provided by the methodology. For example, if your total project outputs are 50 and your PM methodology outputs were 48, then you have a 96% PM Methodology effectiveness or 4% deviation. If measurable, you can estimate cost and time deviations of the outputs as well. A bit crude, but rather easy to do.
