Hi Anupam, good question. And it's certainly a key element to a project's success. Here are a couple of actions you could take:
1. For core team members, hold regular one-on-ones to learn how to best support their success.
2. Connect other team members to one another based on strengths and shared interests.
3. Develop accountability structures that help hold team members accountable to their own and to the team's commitments.
4. Plan the project to get quick wins. This helps the team develop confidence in the project's purpose.
5. Develop a democratic decision making structure to give team members a voice.
6. Have an onboarding approach to the project.
Key is to focus on building and sustaining trust.
