Lately I have found myself reading a lot inside the discipline of Project Management. I don't think this is a bad thing to be studying up but I keep wondering if I'm narrowing my focus too much. Does anyone have any recommendations for books outside of Project Management that has helped them in their career?

I have two recommendations for you:

1- "The Monk who Sold his Ferrari" - Robin Sharma

2- "Blue Ocean Strategy" - This will give you an idea of how to create a market space for your business among all the existing competition.

I've read the following book a lot of years ago, was a recommendation from my manager/mentor when I've started to led teams.

Maybe you've already read it, is not very new...

- Who Moved My Cheese? - Dr. Spencer Johson.

I have added these to my all to my reading list. I had just finished "Thinking, fast and slow"... and its what got me thinking(pun intended) on searching out for new book paths.
