It depends on the area where you work with, if you are into Quality Management role then you can take PMI-RMP. For general project management PgMP will work and there are several Universities offer Advanced Project Management program or Master Certificate in Project Management.
Before I can answer your question. I think we should know your focus, it would assist in the answer.
Agree that it really depends on your focus. If you're in the software/IT industry, PMI-ACP may make sense. For me, where my focus is on PMO and portfolio leadership, I will be working on my PfMP next.
No amount of certification can get you to the top of the pyramid. For that you will need experience and to broaden your skill sets. I would recommend CCMP (Certified Change Management Professional) as delivering anything amounts to very little if not adopted and/or sustainable...

Thank you Aude. I am strongly considering this career path as a CCMP (Certified Change Management Professional) now that I have my PMP Certification.
This is the immediate question coming after being PMP. I join opinions agreeing that if someone aspire for a senior management role, it woulf be advisable to look for business analysis and/or change Management. For quality it is useful to look for the leansixsigma ceryificayion, .. No if maintaining projectized environpent, it would be clear that portfolio, progrzm, risk, ...cerificates are the logical recommandation, ...
I'd focus on experience more than credentials & building a network of strong advocates. Of course, if there is a Blockchain or machine-learning credential which you can couple with experience managing a project leveraging either of those, that's golden!
