Depending on your career goals, perhaps you'd want to consider certifications in other areas besides project management. Some opportunities require PMP and MBA, for example.
Identify your near term career goals and then figure out which certification best matches those.
The PSM I requires no past experience so potential employers or recruiters would perceive that you understand Scrum concepts but not that you can apply those effectively in the field.
