Guys, I want some thoughts on how one would manage a blockchain project. Not that I have one on hand, however I feel it will broaden our perspective on managing projects that are disruptive from tech

Blockchain is not about technology. Is about business, Your business must have a cooperative mindset. if not, you will fail.

Why would you expect a project implementing blockchain to be different than any other project you managed?

Vishwanath -

I'd suggest the risks will be the same as with any emerging technology such as:

1. Larger expectations gaps between customers and delivery team members
2. A greater volume of technical unknowns
3. Low availability of subject matter experts
4. Increased likelihood of functional or non-functional constraints when compared with tried & true solutions

Like Kiron and Stéphane,

I think it is the same than any project, risk associated with new/emerging technologies.
