Project management software

I'm a student of project management and am looking for some software to suppliment my written work. I know of Microsoft Project, but are there any others and any Canadian stores where am I able to buy such software. any help is greatly appreciated.

Well..there are different pm software out there. Primavera. PMOffice...etc...but I think as far as buying off the shelf..MS-Project is it! You might want to try some web-based PM software as well for there seems to be a surge in those...eproject.com has one basic web-app that's free.
