Theoretical Knowledge vs Experience of others

Hi All,

1. which one you feel is better Theoretical Knowledge or learning from Experience of others and why

2.How much time you allocate daily for each of these things.

I agree with many of the others. There is no distinction between the two. One (theory) helps you make decisions about the validity of the other (others experiences). In any role, you will have to decide what advice to take and what to leave behind. Even good intentioned advice can lead you in the wrong direction.

Please, allow me to share with you something that always my father explained to me.

A farmer had saved all his life to pay the college his son. The son got agricultural engineering degree, and returned to the village with his father,

- Father, thank you for helping me to pay my college, he said now, I can help you with your crops. We will install a sprinkler system in your apple trees it will make that the apples will grow larger and more beautiful, your sales will increase more than 25%

Before the son finish his proposal, the father said “ I find very interesting your proposal, but did you noticed that my fields are almonds and do not need to water them as if they were apples”

Theory is only the basis.
