Let us know what you did to prepare, to better help us to help you. I'd be glad to pass along what I did.

As a side note, failing in itself will better prepare you for the next time. Don't get discouraged, Just the ride is a bit bumpier than expected.

Post back.

Make a lot of exam questions muckup but find situational questions. After you get the 80%-90% accurancy systematically you can consider in good shape. The day of the exam and the previous night do nothing related to the exam.

I did not purchase anything...I did a lot of free online practice tests, studied the PMBOK glossary and read chapter 3 of the PMBOK a few times. I did not memorize the Knowledge areas matrix but tried to have a good understanding of how the different processes interacted with each other. And finally, I tried to use project management common sense when taking the test.

Why did you failed, are you aware of your weakness? Do you get nervous? Did you prepared enough (how long have you studied, what resources have you used?)

Not all of us have the same pace for get the certification, for example I'm not too much fan of Rita.

If you told us, how you prepared your test, maybe we can give you more tips.

Few things to remember to pass the exam.
1. Answer question from PMI Prospective.
2. Leave your own experience aside, do not answer any question based on what is your personal experience about the given situation.
3. Mostly first choice that comes to your mind is almost 80% correct so try to stick to that instead reading question again and then reading answer multiple time, that may confuse you more, It was true in my case.
4. Do not stress yourself before exam and during exam, you can take a break of 5 minutes to relieve your stress during exam.

Additionally to all other good tips, secure the answers for all EVM related questions. There are quite a few and are, in my opinion, the easiest if formulas are well memorized and understood. Good luck in the next chance!

Hi, I have written a post that describes 15 Reasons Why People Failed the PMP Exam - This will help you in determining what you should do and what you should avoid. For example you must attend a training course and you should read PMBOK Guide. But you should not overtly rely on free sources (some free sources are good). All the best.
