Hi all, I just picked up a project temporarily to sort out, which is a long way behind schedule. I'm surprised to discover that there aren't any project teams meetings, and never have been. Not conference calls, webexes or anything. Has anyone ever seen a project run like this? I've never seen a project run without them.
Previous PM is not around to ask why.
Meanwhile, it's first team meeting (10 months in) is now today! Saving Changes...

Yes, that surprising to hear. Was there any system or tool set up to communicate? Good Luck. Saving Changes...

You already mentioned project is long way behind, I would have surprised if you would have mentioned project is running well without communication. That is a reason why a Project Manager is required for a project. Saving Changes...

Is there an option to start again? What are you building?
Crazy to think that for 10 months there have been no calls/meetings.
I think you have your work cut out! Saving Changes...
I'm guessing the previous PM did not want to have to explain why the project was late. Saving Changes...

I have had a number of those, In all the cases I was the only team member and the only stakeholder.
You have a situation in your hands there! Good luck! Saving Changes...
Huge red flag. Review all the project documentation for the previous PM (if you find it) and good luck with this project. I've never seen that before, usually teams said that there are too much meetings instead of no meetings. Saving Changes...

It almost seems that the previous PM has purposely deleted this information... perhaps you could ask IT if it is possible to somehow retrieve it? Good luck! Saving Changes...
