I wanted to see if I could get a consensus from those of you with a good deal of BI experience. I have commonly run into clients whose staff is less than computer savvy. In fact some barely have the tech skills to turn on their machine and load Word. I have played with the eval versions of a few clients (Intellibrowser, proclarity, Excel Pivot tables) and I have yet to find a client that I wold say is sufficient to distriute to these types of people. They either need someone to set up their connection, such as with Excel, and intellibrowser and/or once connected they show way to much info. Does anyone know of a client out there (Short of coding your own) that would be easy to set up(for sales staff not techies), and absolutely simple to run and/or train. I liked Excel once it is set up. They really usually only need a simple interface like that. Drag fields over and click chart expert to get the chart.

Depending on the size of your clients: Have you looked at www.dimins.com? This is a scaleable platform, requireing no IT programing knowledge to build models with v.good client functionality.
