Sorry for bother, but thre is a big mistake in this question (by the way, lot of people made the same question). "Successful project manager" has to be defined. And definition depends on lot of factors mainly environmental factor (external and internal to the organization) and what is more diffult is that depends on people perception so you have to made it objective instead of maintain it subjective ones.
