Tom, almost 2 years to the day from your original posting; sorry it took so long to get this topic rolling.
I am currently doing a thesis on Stakeholder Management (Master in Project Management after many years of "practicing"). I find that the whole concept of Stakeholder Management has yet to take off, although I am hearing the term quiet a bit lately especially in the area of government projects.
You have posted a number of responses on this site on the topic, do you believe that the PM world is taking this seriously or is it just a tick box exercise at the beginning of a project and then forgotten?
