Please share the PMP questions you found to be tricky and the lesson learnt from that and don't forget to mention the source.
Here are 2 questions of my choice from PMChallenge.
1. How many process areas in PMBOK?
A. 5
B. 47
C. 10
D. 0
I answered 10 hoping only knowledge area is meant in the question, but the answer is D and explanation said there is nothing like process area.
LL: Don't read what you want to read, read what is in the question.
2. When is a contract is used in projects?
A. always
B. sometimes
C. usually
\D. rarely
Since a contract is a must for projects, my answer was option A. The answer is B and the explanation is contract is used when the project is done for external customer.

This question was not that tricky in my opinion. Those that were dealing with negation or double negation messed up with my brain the most - I had to read them two or three times to make sure that I was not getting tricked into the "not... never", etc.

Glad to see you are back on board again Venkat.
The first question is not tricky as there Knowledge Areas and Processes but not process areas.
The second question is a bit vague as even if it is an internal project, there should be some sort of agreement especially if it is a large organization.

These questions test whether we are 100% sure of our knowledge of the terms/concepts. no fuzzy logic in that.

Which of the following process provides alignment of internal and external stakeholder expectations through established agreements? (Source: unknown)
A. Plan Stakeholder Management
B. Manage Stakeholder Engagement
C.Conduct Procurement

Answer: First thing that strikes after reading this question is requirements and agreement on them between project team and client. However answer is Conduct procurements. Here agreement means contract. Ref: section 12.2 Conduct procurements
LL: don't read a generic term when a specific term is meant.
