Please share the PMP questions you found to be tricky and the lesson learnt from that and don't forget to mention the source.

Here are 2 questions of my choice from PMChallenge.

1. How many process areas in PMBOK?
A. 5
B. 47
C. 10
D. 0

I answered 10 hoping only knowledge area is meant in the question, but the answer is D and explanation said there is nothing like process area.
LL: Don't read what you want to read, read what is in the question.

2. When is a contract is used in projects?
A. always
B. sometimes
C. usually
\D. rarely

Since a contract is a must for projects, my answer was option A. The answer is B and the explanation is contract is used when the project is done for external customer.
LL: Think of all possible scenarios before answering a question.

The ____ calendars include the availability, capabilities and skills of human resources.(source : PMChallenge)
resource
sequenced
composite resource
leveled

I chose resource as the answer since resource calendar has the availability of the resources. I had a doubt whether the resource calendar has the capability and
skills of the human resources.I ruled out the sequenced and leveled. My doubt on the resource calendar should have made me select composite resource calendar but it didn't.

LL: Don't expect to know all the options and be ready to logically deduce the unknown based on the known.

Agreed, Rami. You have to understand that resource calendars only contain scheduling data, like availability. You have to look at something a little broader to get capabilities and skills.

The problem with PM Challenge questions are: 1-who makes quality assurance on them?. 2-the questions you stated above are inaceptable for being part or PMP certification exam questions (I do not know about others). I can say that because I was part of the group that creates exam certification questions from years. My role there was Quality Assurance SME.

New ______ may be developed to display approved remaining durations and modifications to the work plan.(source: PMChallenge)

project schedule network diagrams

bar charts

baselines

Gantt charts

The first thing read was remaining duration, and due to anchoring effect, bar chart was selected as the answer. However the answer was project schedule network diagram.

LL: Don't read only a portion of the question and answer based on that
That's actually fairly straightforward to figure out the answer.

Bar charts have nothing to do with displaying durations. That's not it.

Baselines are not display tools. The other tip-off: New baselines don't make sense for approved remaining durations. That's not it.

Gantt charts could be used to display durations but they don't display modifications to the work plan. That's not it.

It leaves you with schedule network diagram. This makes sense since you can create multiple network diagrams from the schedule data. You can also clearly show what changed from the previous baselines.
