Hello. Does anyone have a template or how-to on creating a slippage chart? Either in Project or in Excel? I have searched the web and have only found references to charts in pdf documents that are not online. Basically, I need to have a template, and for each project I would enter in the actual milestone completion date, the original milestone completion date, and then somehow off to the side denote what happened to make the milestone date slip... ie. there was no sign off due to info missing from the PRD. Etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you considered graphical means of displaying promise viability? The ideas behind CCPM's buffer management process should do what you're looking for. Maybe you can adapt it to a non-CCPM environment.
