How do you link your external contributions to this community?

Many of us have made project management contributions outside of the ProjectManagement.com community. You can have an outside blog or LinkedIn posts.

How can we reasonably make our community members aware of these other contributions?

I know some members have resorted to sending messages to their connections. Are there better ways to do this?

Good Question Stephane.

Maybe once in a while issue a blog called: External Contributions and mention what they contributed externally along with the links for each contribution and this way it will be accessible to everyone. (I am not sure if this is in line with this community regulations).

Message is another option but comes as a second option if the above applies.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Rami. I hope others will also have valid ideas of how we can expand our reach beyond the community.

There are several ways to do this and notify others of your contribution -

1. Highlight, mention and provide the link in your profile
2. Provide the link in your blog description or posting
3. Add the link in your signature
4. Provide link in whitepapers, webinar slides, presentations, downloads
5. Mention during podcasts

It's been sometime here, and I have observed people using one or more ways from the listed above.

Thanks, Anupam. These are great ways to publicize contributions. I can see using these for a specific contribution.

Options 1 or 3 could be used for providing and maintaining a list of all exertnal contributions.

Option 3: Add a link that would guide you through all your external contributions, not one by one.
