I believe they complement each other but for Project Management purposes, I would go for PMI-RMP because C31000 is probably designed for individuals who want to solely do risk management for companies as certified professionals.
Thanks Anupam. On November 7th I attend the course of ISO 31000 that G31000 offers in Lima - Peru and hopefully get certified C31000. I will also take the course of ISO 31010.

I have never heard of the C31000. I have been looking into the PMI-RMP.

Now I have more questions. :-) It appears to be very similar in content to the PMI-RMP. Do you know of any specific differences where one might be preferred over the other?
