Are PMI-RMP® and C31000 competency or complement?

I believe they complement each other but for Project Management purposes, I would go for PMI-RMP because C31000 is probably designed for individuals who want to solely do risk management for companies as certified professionals.

Just my 2 Cents.

Thanks Anupam. On November 7th I attend the course of ISO 31000 that G31000 offers in Lima - Peru and hopefully get certified C31000. I will also take the course of ISO 31010.

Hi Paulo, so you got me interested in learning more about the G31000 since this is the first I heard of it. Thank you for sharing. Now I have more questions. :-) It appears to be very similar in content to the PMI-RMP. Do you know of any specific differences where one might be preferred over the other? I have been reading the FAQ - http://g31000.org/about-iso-31000/faqs/.
