Dears PMPs certfied members, Does someone knows, if there is any concrete case study going through all the 47 Processes? It would be very helpful to understand the subtilities of these activities, and the corresponding ITTOs (especially in the Planning Process Group). Thanks in advance for your support (I am an aspirant to PMP Certification) Best regards, Alexandra Saving Changes...

Although not strictly related to the posted question, I recently started reading the "Business Analysis for Practitioners: A Practice Guide", from the PMI, and was gladly surprised to see that they use an example (in this case, an insurance company) to illustrate the explained concepts and terminology. I do not recall to see something similar in the PMBoK 5th edition.

All good ideas are welcome Eduard !
I just wonder now...how I will find still more time to read all these great inputs.
I should prioritize items in my preparation program plan :)
Preparing this exam is a project in itself :)
Have a pleasant day Eduard. Thanks again

Hi Alexandra,
again i just can't underline more what Rami already has mentioned.
You need to use at least one or two prep books accordingly to the PMBoK Guide for PMP preparation and you will see that all this processes and ITTOs and son on become much clearer immediatly.
While Rita's book as many great examples i like most the storys in the HEAD First Prep book which are used to explain the stuff. Very visual approach there what helped me a lot in understanding.

Alex,
Markus is a saving angel. I joined this community a year ago and since that time, he always jumped in to help others with as much info as he can.
As for your comment on Rita's Book, there are lots of example in her book, as you read, you will realize that you will have a full understanding which will make things much easier for you.
It took me personally 4 months to study for the exam so as Markus said, it is a project by itself but it is worth it.
Just my 2 Cents :-)
