I am not sure where to post or direct this message, so please forgive me if this is the wrong place. I have noticed that much of the content and files on gantthead.com is more than a couple years old. Since I am paying for premium membership, I have to question the value of such dated material. How often is the content updated and why the lack of up-to-date materials? Please let me know if there is a more appropriate board or email address to which I can direct this message. Thank you in advance. Saving Changes...
gantthead content is updated daily. We tend to archive our content in appropriate areas, so yes, there will be a number of older articles and downloads as well. gantthead is growing, both in content and membership, every day. You can see content added most recently by visiting the "newest downloads" and "articles home" page from the drop-down menus.
I'll be happy to address specific concerns if you would like to contact me directly at [email protected]
Best,
Erin DeCaprio

New content is always being added - not as much as many of us would like, but since the content is almost all completely voluntary submissions then it depends on people having spare time and useful things to say. I don't think any of us can strongly criticize unless we have contributed content ourselves!
As far as material being "stale" when a couple of years old - I'd say absolutely not. Our profession has built on experience, and this is accumulated over decades. What may seem stale to someone with mature experience may be vital new info to someone just starting out, and even information on historical systems and approaches may be relevant as some organisations do not refresh these regularly - I know several who are still using what I established in them over a decade ago, and one that is using the processes, templates etc that I put in place back in the early 90s, based on Prince 1. Very little in our profession ever becomes completely redundant, so content regarding it may be stale to us, but is still of value to some and should be retained. Saving Changes...
