What is the best way to address a PROJECT EXECUTIVE SUMMARY? I cannot find anything that is of help. Thank you

trying to hit all the key elements in a document for the executive summary. Not having any luck with web searches.

Executive summary reports differs from one company to another depending on the higher management requirements but in general, this is what I do include in the ESR:

1- Overall Cost Baseline, Estimate to Complete & Variance.
2- Schedule Baseline, Milestones, Actual and highlight any variances.
3- Mitigation Plans if required.
4- Risks / Opportunities.
5- General Concerns.
6- Future Business.

Usually those reports are 1 - 2 pages summarizing the big picture.

The first document I find interesting description of how to build an executive summary fro any type of document.
The second a nice template.

In addition you can add resource baseline vs actual, Status of key deliveries and approvals as applicable to project.
