We recently evaluated IIL's UPMM along with four other vendor offerings. A great deal of general project management information is included with UPMM making it kind of like a big PM website. It wasn't quite what we were looking for, but I could see where it might be a good fit for a very, very large company or an internal PM training department.

I agree with the previous post. A while back, our team had a few looks at UPMM. We were surprised at the number of typos as well as logos and references to a particular customer, I suppose the first, that were peppered about the methodology. We were more impressed with the quality and the design approach taken by some of the other vendors that we evaluated as well as the customer base for their products and the general information on hand regarding installation, setup and customization, and on-going administration. We had very favorable impressions of PMCoP by PM Solutions (see http://www.pmsolutions.com/services/pm_methodology.htm), Processes On Demand by BOT International (see http://www.botinternational.com), and PMOStep by Tensteps (see http://www.tenstep.com). We ended up selecting Processes On Demand largely due to their integration and fit with SharePoint and Project Server. [email protected]
