Hi,

Anyone one there been exposed to the implementation of a "bowtie" methodology for Enterprise Risk Management?

Hoping to connect with anyone with direct experience to discuss how they did that (e.g., business processes, how to frame content within bowties, linking of controls, different software tools to support, etc.)

Hi James,
Bowtie methodology is more a way to represent risk where you put Consequence on one side and Threats on the other of the Main event.
It is a visual representation that should help you in your risk management.
I do not believe it change the rest of risk management dynamics. You probably already found reference on Internet.
Sorry I can't be of more help on that.

Vincent,

I appreciate the reply! I think perhaps we're trying to create too much structure behind the bowtie and complicating it needlessly. Have you used a bowtie tool yourself at all?
