I am currently doing the SCPM program. Have until now taken the three mandatory courses - i.e. converting strategy into action, project portfolio management and program management.
Based on the portfolio management course I have made a business case for one of my current customers. The business case focuses on the value added for this specific customer by implementing a formal project portfolio management process.
The course doesn?t tell you how to build a business case but certainly how to implement and manage the implemented project portfolio process.
Unfortunately there is no possibility of exchanging knowledge with other on-line students on the course - which I consider a major drawback in the learning process. So please ask if I have to elaborate more. I will do it gladly as it is forcing me to think more on what I have gained in knowledge. Saving Changes...
