Hi there,

How many people here think they would use a website that provided MS Office templates and tips from the PM point of view? My company is thinking about building a site like this. I would love to get any feedback. Thanks very much for taking the time to answer.

Sincerely,
Joseph

Joe,

I think this is a great idea. When I was a 'newbie' a few years back, I struggled to find templates on the web. The MS Office site has a few, but they are mostly 'fluff.' It is always good to measure your own work against a standard.

I agree. I have developed pretty well every template I use. Finding good pre-existing stuff online was difficult.

Yes, templates are the number one priroty. But there's probably other useful stuff we could include. Advice, tips? Shortcuts for processes? Any other ideas?
And hey, thanks for the responses.

best

Joseph, I would be more than happy to contribute templates/checklists to your site in Acrobat format. See attached "Accelerators That Work" for my email address.

You could take a look at the free templates on our website, and see how we integrate them into process, so the purpose for each template becomes more apparent. This might give you some ideas.

Go to www.neprojectservices.com to see them.
