I'm currently doing my thesis in the fields of marketing and project management. Thereby, I would really appreciate if you would spend a few minutes answering my survey regarding you, and project management tools / software. It would be of great help for my research.

Kaspar, an improvement on the form may be to allow multi-select for the question of what tool do you use. I'm sure many use multiple tools. I use JIRA, MS Project, and SharePoint. Each has their place.
Let me know you're thoughts. I don't want to submit twice as to skew you're results, so I'll complete the form once I hear your thoughts.

Thank you very much for that input, Andrew! My thought was to let people choose their #1 favorite PM tool, but I can certainly see that it can vary depending on project types, the organization, current situation, etc.
I've changed the form, and looking forward to receive your response. Thanks again for taking the time to report back to me, Andrew!
Also, please let me know if you would be interested in any of the results.

One remark about the very detailed business/market table: For me it was not clear, if you would like to know in which kind of company the answering person is employed or to which kind of companies/business the projects belong s/he is involved. I for myself had projects in different companies/business/markets.
And you need a lot of responses to find a signifcance of the PM distribution. Wish you good luck.
