B looks more pragmatic though you have not mentioned, what is the progress of test phase and assuming your test phase completion is less than 50%.

If you are in the test phase, you are pretty close to the end of the project. Your estimate should be fairly accurate and precise, by then.

I would go with A. While B's range is larger, it is setting expectations to have a minimum of 24 days. If the sponsor tries to put pressure on the team to expedite project delivery, B estimate (based on the supplied information) will not get you there. However, A is more manageable, more honest, respectful and fair to both the team and the sponsor.
