I noticed Prolay used the greeting "dear flocks" in a discussion.

We know animals have peculiar group names such as murder, parliament, gaggle,...

What would you pick as a group name for project managers?

'Project Manager' is just fine. 'Dear Community' or, outside of this specific group, 'Dear Project Management Community'

Good point, Maria. I never thought it might be a typographical error.

Of course, I thought we could have a bit of fun with this.

How about... a parade of project managers?

It was not a typographical error. Rather my profound negligence to read and comprehend the word meaning minutely and spelling the word correctly.

Stéphane, I thought of pointing that at first, then thinking as typo ignored it. I too expected folks.

English is not my native language, and I pick words very carefully.

Sometimes when you don't know how to address, it's better to use words like - 'Hello All, Hi All, Everyone, Dear All, Hello PMs, Hello Leaders, etc.'

Thank you, Anupam, for reminding me that English is not my mother tongue. But you know what, I FORGET that very often.

Go-PM's (Group of Project Managers)....

I thought of "Go-PM's" as Go "to" PM's. A group of talented and experienced people who somebody can look forward to when having a query/issue

my wild imagination :-)

It was my bad. I am sorry for the misspelling. I meant "folk." Thank you for correcting me, Stéphane Parent.

"Flock" would imply that we are followers. According to one theory, you are either a leader, a follower, or an artist. If you're like me, you've realized that we are all three, depending upon the circumstances. But I prefer the collective noun a "misbelief" of project managers.

A "misbelief of painters" is a reference to portrait artists who were paid to make their subjects look better than they did in real life.
