Industry Standards for Defects/KLOC

I am looking for industry standards for defects per Lines of Code. My company is developing new software. The initial modules are running in a production environment. We currently have 1.25 defects per 1000 LOC. My intuition is that this is quite good for such a young product but I would like to find some published standards to back up my position. Does anyone know where such standards might be found?
