Constructability modulation
- Preassembly: a common practice on most industrial projects today by which various materials, prefabricated components, and / or equipment are joined together by different crafts at a remote location for subsequent installation as a sub-unit; Is generally focused on a system.
- Module: a major section of a plant resulting from a series of remote assembly operations; May include portions of many systems; Usually the largest transportable unit or component of a facility.
- Offsite Fabrication: a practice of preassembly or fabrication of components both offsite and onsite at a location other than the final point of installation.
With this strategy it was possible to increase productivity and reduce costs with security, QA, QC, rework

I not sure this is what your expecting.
Not fully new but recent software like PlanGrid, have proven on project I was involved to be efficient simplified some process concerning Quality.
Using a tablet you explore the construction site, with plans loaded in. You can rapidly put picture of defect and pinpoint them on plans. Subs have access to those plan to make necessary correction. Saving Changes...

The issue here is that the industry itself, in US at least, has a laser focus on the CCM. This is fallacious, I believe, because with the proper utilization of SMEs and on the job training, there is infinitely more utility in the PMP than there is in the CCM. Prior planning, risk management, stakeholder management, avoidance of scope creep, and so on are much more in depth with the PMP than the CCM curriculum. There should be work from the PMI Global office to present the value proposition to the Construction industry on this point.
