IT Project Staffing

Does anyone know any current industry baseline staffing models for IT? I've been in IT over 17 years and I know that Garner or Meta or Burton or one of those organizations used to say start with a PC staff of 1 support person per 200 PCs and 1 support person for 30 servers. I can find references for 1:30, but I can no longer find support for the 1:200. I'm trying to argue a staffing proposal to executive management. Any help is appreciated.
