Following Steve Draheim's earlier question on recommendations for books on change management, I wondered if there were any other recommendations for the other practice areas or leadership areas?
My goal is to try an read something every month. Saving Changes...

In my humble opinion, after participating in lots of leaderships workshop/tranining/coaching and everything you imaging because the companies where I working let me say this: leadership has become other buzzword. And please understand me, because my personal way to be I have researched and reading a lot on the field. So, as in other things, go to the basic. Sun Tzu "The art of War" but the original one. Carl von Clausewitz "On War". And search papers (but serious ones) about Churchill, Eisenhower and Hitler (I know you will surprise but try to separe the "evil" and try to understand his leadership style beyond you can accept it or not). I just finished "What I Didn't Learn in Business School". It is written as a fable which makes it more exciting to read - or listen, in my case.
There are some very good strategy and business management tips in the book. Saving Changes...
