Hi - pharma industry PM here, currently working in a small UK based company. I'm interested to hear how other people manage revenue recognition and forecasting - any praticular software, or, like us, are the majority of people excel focused?

Look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Rachael follow up with ICAEW in the UK and look for a Industry Professional with PHARMA skills engaged with SMEs and ask them what they are working with locally. It's interesting that you are working with what would appear to be a development company in the Pharma space. I would imaging the Revenue Recognition Software is a more complicated point though as you are mixing a few concepts there. Revenue Recognition pertains to the Nature and Timing of realizing the Revenues from Pharma Sales under FRC and potentially IFRS guidelines. The ICAEW professionals engaged with PHARMA from the Research lines should be abe to help more to specifics to softwares they may find helpful - the experts most likely being the ICAEW IT specialists. This would be a good starting point. Reach out to me on profile and I'll see what more I may find.
