Major Repairs to Methane Gas Holder Dome

Hi all.I am working on a project which could cost on budget close to 3 million ZAR. The project involves the major repairs to 30M (diameter ) X 7M (high) steel methane gas holder dome.As much as I am doing preparations and research in my high level planing ,which is probably my initial stage,I need some advise and input from the members of the critical things I have to be alert of in a big project like this one. I am mostly worried about the hazards with regard to Occupational Health and safety act.Has anyone been involved in this kind of work?
