I am searching for resources - guides to processes with supporting templates. Can anyone advise where is the best place to start from and whether it is worthwhile (for this objective) to become a member of PMI.

Dear Anonymous, why not do both - join PMI and join Gantthead. If you are a project management professional, then you might consider joining your local PMI chapter as well as joining Gantthead. If you are looking for PM resources, processes, and templates, you can find them here on Gantthead. For PM and SDLC processes and templates in support of a PMO or project organization, you can also look at some of the leading vendor software products like PMCoP from PM Solutions, Tensteps, Processes On Demand from BOT International, and RUP from IBM Rational.
