I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips onto progressing into Project Management. I've been doing Coordination for approximately 5 years and obtained the IT Project+ certification but still cannot get over the big hurdle into becoming a fully fledged Project Manager. Any advice? I would recommend joining you local PMI chapter. You can meet and network with project management professionals and see and hear a wide variety of informative presentations. The hurdle to become a "fully fledged" project manager doesn't have to be a big one. Prepare yourself and continue knocking on the door, it will open..!
