We usually have project BAs and product BAs. Most of my work is as the latter for troubleshooting production tickets. I spend approximately 20 to 25% of my work week on BA work.
The only time I would not spend on an account or project would be for indirect or overhead activities such as training, meetings and documentation. These activities would take a small percentage of my overall BA time, around 10% Saving Changes...
