I have a project with multiple external vendors. scheduling ad hoc meetings is a nightmare - exchanging multiple emails to find a common time to meet. not to mention the confusion of multiple time zones "was that eastern or central time?"

can anyone recommend a solution where people from multiple companies can sync their calendars into a common calendar repository and then you can search for an available time slot?

You can use Microsoft Outlook and share you calender / have others share theirs with you so when you want to appoint a meeting, you can just look at their calender and know when they are busy. You can do that from calender permissions snd u can limit what others can see. It is a great tool and I use it all the time as I deal with multiple projects, clients & consultants.

You can sync SharePoint & Outlook. SharePoint should be placeholder.
