What is the best way, i.e. framework, methodology to successfully manage systems integration projects? If anyone has some resources (books, articles, videos), please share. Saving Changes...
i worked in one of the System Integration Project, we were approx 200 people and 13 applications and the environment was very dynamic. We used Project and Program Management approaches as promoted by PMI. At integration level, program management tools and techniques were more helpful than project management. Saving Changes...
Thank you Saket for your reply. I would have expected that Agile methodology will be used. Could you please be more specific:
- Can you talk more about the approach?
- What are the specific management tools and techniques did you use? Saving Changes...
The similar approach can be executed using SAFe, where at program management layer we end up doing lots of Interdependence Management and at Team level we use Scrum and Kanban,
In my experience i find many Solution / Product Development companies using SAFe , here is small video on SAFe
